Dr. Emily Hoffman, a popular national presenter and educator, will be this year’s featured speaker. Dr. Hoffman will present a workshop focused on crucial conversations that define a career; a topic of great importance to any surgeon striving to advance her clinical or academic career.
The reception will also offer an opportunity to meet and mentor this year’s scholarship recipients, five young women very interested in a career in cardiothoracic surgery. Additionally, WTS is electing new members to its executive board for 2012. Be sure to participate in this important part of the meeting agenda.
